Happy Friday Love BUGS! I am introducing a new blog topic I'd like to write about every Friday: Fitness! Whether that is some personal goals of mine, a re-cap of the week, new recipe I've found, quick workout circuit, or general fitness tip, here goes nothing!

So Monday was President's Day and Ryan and I both had off :) RARE. Ry had to do some work on our boat so Franklin and I decided to go with him, it was so nice out. We keep the boat in Point Loma locked on base in a fenced in area with an AMAZING view of the city and bay. Franklin loves to go and run around and play with all the sticks while Dad works lol. I knew I would feel better with a workout so decided to make up a circuit, let Franklin play, and Ryan work! 

I brought a mat, towel, jumprope, and resistance band. Lots of H2O of course. Check it out below.


  • 100 jump ropes
  • 20x squat w/ bicep curl
  • 20x lunge w/ back fly
  • 20x squat jumps


Okay so this video is terrible quality lol hoping I can look back at this one day and realize how bad I started off haha. Anyways, after this I did some ab work and lots of push ups! Trying to get my arms toned *rolls eyes* so I've been doing push ups as much as I can. 

A final GO-TO ab workout when I'm trying to get in shape for an event or something is a: 


  • 1 min regular plank
  • 1 min right side plank
  • 1 min regular plank
  • 1 min left side plank
  • 1 min regular plank

**WITHOUT stopping the whole time! Try it, you'll wanna die.
